Founded over 15 years ago, Miami Lakes Security Academy began with a simple but ambitious mission: to elevate the standard of private security in South Florida. We recognized a gap in the industry—too many schools were focused solely on getting students to pass a test, rather than preparing them for the realities of the job. We set out to change that.
Starting as a small classroom in Miami Lakes, we have grown into one of the most respected training facilities in the state. Our growth has been driven by our reputation for excellence. The Class D course covers topics such as legal authority and limitations, emergency response procedures, observation, patrol, and report writing, ethics and public relations, incident documentation, and professional communication.
